Session Summary
In this session, participants will gain valuable strategies to successfully partner with CNA schools to produce engaged and productive CNAs. Participants will learn the expectations and responsibilities each party should have to create a successful program. This session will also walk participants through a typical start to finish timeline for a new CNA student and the potential benefits for the skilled nursing center along the way.

About the Presenter
Chris Palevich has worked in secondary education, sourcing or empowering students for employment for the last 16 years. He started his career with Monster.com, where he learned how to source and narrow down candidates for employers to find the perfect match. It was a natural transition to turn his attention to education and teaching students' what employers were looking for. Chris has held roles as a career services advisor, director of career services, and vice president of career services in various post-secondary educational institutions, including Indiana University, Kaplan and Medtech Colleges. With the changing landscape of secondary education, Chris founded Premier Nursing Academy and believes that an enrollment-to-employment model will be the future of entry level nursing and health care education.

About the Presenter
Jennifer Ziolkowski has over 28 years of experience in the long term care profession. Her extensive knowledge of business operations and finance led her to serve in various roles such as senior vice president of finance and president in highly respected long term care companies. Jennifer holds a Masters in Business Administration and a Yellow Belt in Lean Six Sigma. In 2021, Jennifer along with two partners founded Q3 Healthcare Consulting to share her knowledge with others in the long term care profession. Currently, her firm serves as the program leader for the Caregiver FL Career Program.
