About the Presenter
Jennifer Marx has spent more than twenty years working in skilled nursing, shaping her career at the intersection of clinical care, regulatory requirements and quality improvement. As a speech language pathologist who later moved into compliance and operational oversight, she understands how clinicians navigate the realities of therapeutic practice while managing the growing expectations tied to documentation, ethics and organizational accountability. She is Certified in Healthcare Compliance, a credential that reflects advanced preparation in healthcare regulations, auditing processes, ethical decision making and organizational risk management. She is also a Resident Assessment Coordinator Certified professional, giving her a deep working knowledge of the Minimum Data Set system and the ways clinical decisions, coding and interdisciplinary communication influence reimbursement and care planning. In addition, she is a Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement Certified professional, a background that anchors her work in systems level analysis, root cause evaluation and long term quality development. She is also a Certified Alzheimer?s Disease and Dementia Care Trainer, which strengthens her perspective on person-centered care in complex clinical environments. These qualifications reflect the breadth of her experience across both direct care and the regulatory structure that supports it.
