Steven Lerner

About the Presenter

Steven Lerner graduated from the University of Central Florida in May of 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in public administration with a minor in Emergency Management and a Master’s Degree in Public Safety and Service Leadership from Drury University. Upon graduating from college, Steven was hired by Seminole County’s Office of Emergency Management, where he currently serves as the Division Manager. Before assuming this role, Steven held other positions in the Division, focusing on managing state and federal grants and conducting extensive mitigation work for the County.

Pam Keil

Emergency Management Specialist | Orange County Office of Emergency Management

About the Presenter

Pamela Keil is an Emergency Management Specialist with Orange County's Office of Emergency Management. In that role, she is responsible for not only ensuring that nearly 250 hospitals, nursing homes, and other medical facilities have state-compliant emergency plans in place, but also that those plans are realistic and functional. Her work was proven during Hurricane Milton and Ian when healthcare facilities successfully initiated their emergency evacuation plans during flooding conditions. Before joining Orange County, she served with the Florida Division of Emergency Management. She has worked around the world in a variety of fields and served many years as a Girl Scout Leader.
