Session Summary
This session will cover effective behavioral health practices that aim to achieve better outcomes for residents and discuss pilot behavioral health programs. The demand for caring for and admitting patients with serious mental illness and substance abuse disorders is increasing, and healthcare facilities cannot keep avoiding admitting patients with behavioral health needs. This presentation aims to provide attendees with a deeper understanding of these diseases and the support required and empower healthcare facilities to feel more confident in managing this population.Presenters
