Root Cause Analysis (RCA) is a method of problem solving used for identifying the root causes of faults or problems. It is widely used in IT operations, telecommunications, industrial process control, accident analysis, in medicine and the health care profession. This session will provide participants with a better understanbding of a root cause analysis in relation to the issues and challenges that are dealt with in the long term care environment.
