Session 19 | Partnering with an IE-SNP - How Your Residents (and You) Can Benefit

Day: Monday, July 14
Time: 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
Type/Topic: Assisted Living
Room Location: Celebration 9 & 10

Session Summary

Understanding the needs of your Medicare-enrolled residents is invaluable. The Assisted living leader’s knowledge of various Medicare plans, including specialized plans for those requiring extra care, empowers you to advocate for their well-being. While Medicare can be a labyrinth, especially regarding managed care plans, there's a beacon of hope for residents needing more extensive care. The Institutional Equivalent Special Needs Plan (IE-SNP) caters specifically to individuals who require an institutional level of care but can thrive in the comfort of their community. This session will help attendees navigate these plans.
