Session 49 | Skilled Nursing Centers: Rock Your CEMP and EPP Plan Reviews with Emergency Management
Time: 2:15 to 4:15 p.m.
Type/Topic: Operations/Quality Improvement
Get the inside playlist of what your local emergency management office is looking for when reviewing your center's Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan (CEMP) and the Emergency Power Plan (EPP) appendix. The Florida Emergency Preparedness Association (FEPA) and the FEPA Health Care Working Group have developed a session for skilled nursing centers to help retune the misperceptions and lay down the tracks required by rule to review and approve each plan. They will also describe the harmony needed between local partners during a response to achieve the best possible outcomes for long term care's vulnerable population.
