This session will provide an overview of the FY 2026 Patient-Driven Payment Model changes that impact reimbursement and the adjustments center leaders may need to make to be successful. Attendees will be encouraged to pay close attention to their rank with current and future Quality Reporting Program measures as well as their points in the Value-Based Purchasing Program.

Landa Stricklin is responsible for leading the clinical consulting team as they provide reimbursement, operational, HER, and clinical solutions to post-acute healthcare providers. By staying informed about federal regulations and changes across the LTPAC industry, she prepares clients to proactively meet new expectations through Richter's custom-designed services. Landa takes her position as an educator seriously and is always eager to share the knowledge she has accumulated throughout her 30+ year career. Her mentees appreciate her ability to take complex rules and simplify them without sacrificing any valuable details. As someone who is extremely vested in her team, her greatest accomplishments are the successful careers she has helped nurture over the years.

About the Presenter

Boris is a Principle with Forvis Mazars who has more than 30 years of hands-on experience in management, finance, regulatory, reimbursement, operation and clinical consulting in the long-term care and ICF-IID industry. Boris is responsible for preparing and reviewing the preparation of Medicaid and Medicare cost reports for various long-term care and ICF-IID facilities in Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia. He is also an expert in Medicaid reimbursement in Arizona, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, and Michigan. He is responsible for managing top-profile consulting clients and assisting clients with identifying and implementing revenue enhancements. He also assists clients with the valuation of potential acquisitions, performing operations reviews of numerous nursing homes, resulting in substantial cost improvements for client operations. He is experienced in the analysis of the Florida PPS reimbursement, Medicare PDPM reimbursement and UPL/IGT reimbursement opportunities, comparative financial analysis, reimbursement consulting, and capital projects. He also assists clients in developing business plans and financial modeling to make sound business decisions. At Forvis Mazars, he is in charge of training and staff development for long-term care consultants in the Fort Lauderdale office. He has delivered numerous continuing education presentations to various industry associations and conferences. Boris frequently presents overviews of Medicare and Medicaid for organizations, including FICPA, FHCA and LeadingAge Southeast.
