Session Summary

Leadership and race car driving may seem worlds apart, but they share a powerful truth: both can be learned, practiced, and mastered. With desire, good coaching, and the right opportunities, anyone can hone the skills needed to lead with confidence and clarity. This session will cover the qualities that great race car drivers and great leaders share, and how attendees can sharpen them in their own journey.

About the Presenter

Julie Morris is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator with over 25 years of experience. With extensive knowledge in long term care and geriatric administration. She is highly qualified in regulations and operational functions in the long term care facility. Julie is an effective strong communicator with problem-solving skills. She is a dedicated advocate for our Seniors with a professional attitude and perspective. Julie has been a member of FHCA since 2005 starting at the District level and has increased her involvement with committees. Co-Chair and Chair of Annual Conference, Survey and Regulatory, Bylaws, Professional Development, Budget, and Workforce Committees. Julie previously was Region II VP until running for Secretary of the Executive Committee and currently serves as the President of the FHCA Board.
