Session 55 | The Final Scene: Triple Check Before the Credits Roll
Time: 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.
Type/Topic: Operations/Regulatory/Legal Compliance
Session Summary
This session invites healthcare leaders to take a fresh look at Triple Check, not as a routine task but as the final scene that will determine how the episode will end. Designed for both new and experienced leaders, the presentation will clarify the purpose of validating not only the Uniform Billing (UB) form, but also how interdisciplinary documentation plays in the final act. It begins with the patient's admission, through the Assessment Reference Date (ARD), followed by reporting that information accurately on the Minimum Data Set (MDS). Attendees will leave with an understanding of how a disciplined process can prevent costly errors, reduce workload, and ensure the credits roll with a strong financial outcome.
