This session will provide an overview and discussion on alternative payment models, including episodic, bundled payment, capitation and sliding scale reimbursement models. Attendees will gain insight into how these models work, the general risks and rewards associated with each model, and the facility operational requirements needed to ensure success.

About the Presenter
Marty joined AHCA in August of 2023 as the Senior Director of National Contracting. He is responsible for all aspects of managed care development including contract negotiations, value-based reimbursement implementation, and payer relations. Before joining AHCA, Marty worked in post-acute care for 30+ years in operations, business strategy, network development and managed care contracting. Marty received his BA in Psychology from Kalamazoo College and his MA and PhD degrees in Behavioral Psychology from Western Michigan University. Marty resides in the Ann Arbor, Michigan area.
