Session Summary
The world of technology is now an integral component of health care. Innovative resources are now available to aid in fall detection and prevention. This session will review how technology can be used to detect falls, assess risk and reduce or prevent occurrences. Participants will be exposed to exciting concepts which will provoke discussion to drive successful fall prevention programs. Let's make progress together by exchanging ideas and experiences to engage our exposure to cutting-edge technology.
Beth Reigart is employed as a Clinical Outcomes Specialist with Functional Pathways. In this role, she supports program development for corporate and client driven initiatives. She provides training on regulatory issues, quality measures and the use of clinical reasoning to optimal functional outcomes. As a certified RAC-CT, she provides clinical reimbursement training to clients. She holds a master’s degree in Public Health from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina. In addition to her diverse clinical experiences, Beth has served as a faculty professor at the Medical University of South Carolina and the University of St. Augustine.
