Dramatic changes have been occurring with regards to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and Wage and Hour laws, both COVID-19 related and otherwise. Attendees will learn how to respond to real life issues. This session will provide guidance to supervisors faced with difficult questions and demands from today's workforce. About the Presenter
LaKisha M. Kinsey-Sallis is a partner in the Fisher & Phillips, LLP Tampa office. LaKisha has extensive experience representing private and public sector employers of all sizes and across several industries including hospitality, retail, health care, education, public housing, and technology. Her experience includes, but is not limited to, litigating collective and class actions as well as single-plaintiff claims, providing day-to-day advice on workplace issues, defending charges before administrative agencies, developing and reviewing handbooks, and offering preventive strategies through training and risk assessments before and after lawsuits. LaKisha has appeared before various state and federal courts to defend claims arising under the Fair Labor Standards Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Title VII, Family & Medical Leave Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act, and other federal and state employment laws.Michael Miller
