Shonda M. Taylor, DBA, MBA, LNHA is a Senior Vice President of Operations and recognized turnaround leader in long-term care. She specializes in stabilizing underperforming facilities, pioneering innovative programming, and driving measurable improvements in quality, compliance, and financial performance, achieving multiple 5-star outcomes across her portfolio. Dr. Taylor is known for building high-performing teams and mentoring emerging leaders as a dedicated preceptor. She currently serves as an Adjunct Professor and facilitator with Cornell University and teaches at the University of Maryland, and has previously taught at LeTourneau University, University of Hawaii, and University of Phoenix. She holds a Doctorate of Business Administration with emphasis in Global Health Care Leadership & Management (2015), a Master of Business Administration with emphasis in Health Care Management/Leadership (2007), and a Bachelor of Health Administration (2006), and is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in Florida (formerly AZ, WA, LA, HI), a Certified Nursing Home Administrator (American College of Health Care Administrators), and a NAB Exam Writer. Joy Herring is a Post-Acute Care Nurse with over 25 years of experience in MDS, clinical reimbursement, regulatory compliance, and nursing informatics. She is committed to improving patient care quality and establishing an environment where policies, regulatory compliance, and continuous quality improvement initiatives drive excellence in patient outcomes. Dr. Herring specializes in RAI process optimization, system analysis, and leveraging data analytics to improve clinical and financial outcomes. She is recognized for her collaborative leadership and her ability to transform complex data into actionable insights that support quality improvement and operational efficiency. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a Master of Science in Nursing Informatics from Chamberlain University.
