Learn about benefits that the Florida Health Information Exchange's Encounter Notification Service (ENS) can provide post-acute care organizations, including building relationships with partners (payers, ACOs, and hospitals), sharing of admission and discharge data with partners and being informed when recently discharged residents return to a hospital.

About the Presenter
Corinne Slautterback has been with the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) for 3 years. In her role as Health IT Outreach Coordinator, Corinne facilitates outreach activities for the Office of Health Information Exchange and Policy Analysis, with a primary focus on Health IT initiatives. Her current focus is predominantly on strategic planning and adoption of technology within healthcare. She is responsible for educating providers and administrators on the benefits of using Health IT, including the use of Electronic Health Records, Florida HIE Services, and Patient Record Exchange. Prior to working at AHCA, Corinne earned her Master of Arts in Integrated Marketing Communications from Florida State University.

About the Presenter
Aaron Parsons is a health policy enthusiast focused on promoting technological innovation in health care. He is a Senior Manager with Audacious Inquiry, where he oversees policy and outreach for the Florida Health Information Exchange. Prior to joining Audacious Inquiry, Aaron helped lead transformational health IT initiatives at the Agency for Health Care Administration. Aaron has a master’s degree in political science and a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Florida State University.
